GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) _ Back-to-back games don't faze Anaheim's Jean-Sebastien Giguere.
Giguere made 37 saves in his season-high eighth straight start, and the Mighty Ducks tied the Phoenix Coyotes 1-1 Monday night.
``I felt much better tonight than yesterday,'' said Giguere, who took the loss Sunday against Dallas. ``With back-to-back games, if you get plenty of rest and hydrate yourself, you're young enough you should be able to do it.''
Jason Krog scored for the Mighty Ducks, who are 0-1-1-1 in their last three games after winning five of six.
``One point isn't enough, but it's a step in the right direction,'' Giguere said.
Daymond Langkow scored and Brian Boucher made 23 saves for the Coyotes, who are 2-9-2-1 in their last 14 games. Phoenix's 10-13-5-2 home record and 27 points are the worst totals in the Western Conference, better than only Pittsburgh and Washington in the NHL.
The Coyotes are 3-1-1 against Anaheim.
Krog put Anaheim ahead 1-0 in the second period when he beat Boucher off a rebound from the left side of the net. The goal was Krog's fifth and his first since Nov. 28, a span of 34 games.
Langkow tied it with a short-handed goal with 1:22 left in the period, deflecting Mike Comrie's shot while laying at the top of the crease for his 18th.
``That's a typical goal for me,'' Langkow said. ``I drove the net there and fell down. I didn't even know I got credit for it.''
The Mighty Ducks held Phoenix scoreless on seven power-play opportunities. Anaheim has killed off 27 of its last 29.
``When your goalie's playing as well as Giggy has been, the penalty kill should be pretty good, as long as you don't let him down and give up cheap ones,'' said Anaheim coach Mike Babcock.
Anaheim's Sergei Fedorov had a chance for the winning goal bounce off the right goalpost with 2:39 left in regulation. Fedorov hit the same post early in the first period.
The Mighty Ducks also had a power-play opportunity with 2:06 left in overtime, but managed just one shot on goal.
