GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) _ The Phoenix Coyotes earned a point in the standings but couldn't end their winless streak.

Sergei Fedorov scored 29 seconds into overtime to lift the Anaheim Mighty Ducks past Phoenix 3-2 Tuesday night, extending the Coyotes' winless streak to 13 games.

Fedorov beat goalie Brent Johnson with a hard wrist shot from the slot. The puck bounced off Johnson's glove, ducked under the crossbar and shot right back out of the net, causing the play to be reviewed by the replay officials as Fedorov stood in front of the Anaheim bench smiling in apparent disbelief.

Referee Mick McGeough confirmed the goal after a two-minute delay.

``We found a way to lose another game but we made it to overtime tonight,'' said Shane Doan, who scored his team-leading 24th goal for Phoenix. ``In the third period we didn't play desperate enough to win that game.''

Daymond Langkow also scored for the Coyotes, 0-8-2-3 in their last 13 games and 2-16-3-4 since consecutive wins over San Jose and Detroit in late January.

Phoenix is 0-7-1-3 since interim coach Rick Bowness took over for Bobby Francis on Feb. 24 and 4-13-4-2 since moving to Glendale Arena on Dec. 27.

``We battled very hard again,'' Bowness said. ``We're not going to hang our heads. We battled hard right until the end.''

Garrett Burnett scored his first career goal, Cam Severson also had a goal, and Ilja Bryzgalov made 26 saves in his first NHL start for the Mighty Ducks, who snapped a four-game losing streak.

``NHL games and AHL games are a bit different,'' Bryzgalov said. ``Here you need a little bit more concentration.''

Severson had given Anaheim a 2-1 lead with a power-play goal at 11:54 of the second period, chipping a rebound of his own shot past Johnson for his third goal. The goal came with three seconds left in an extended four-minute power play following a double-minor penalty to Daniel Cleary.

``If you got out and work hard it's amazing,'' Anaheim coach Mike Babcock said. ``Since the trade deadline we've been struggling to find a way to win.''

Langkow tied it at 16:25 of the second after getting a fortuitous bounce. Langkow gained control of a loose puck in the left corner and tried backhanding a pass to Doan at the top of the crease. But the puck deflected off Anaheim defenseman Martin Skoula and between Bryzgalov's pads for the tying goal.

``We kept telling the guys that if you work hard enough you're going to get those breaks,'' Bowness said. ``That was a big break for us.''

Burnett put the Mighty Ducks ahead 1-0 at 13:39 of the first period when he redirected a shot by Lance Ward past Johnson. Doan tied the game with a power-play goal 43 seconds into the second period on a rebound of a redirected shot by Paul Mara.

``It was an unbelievable effort by us and much different than the last couple of games,'' Johnson said. ``We went out there with fire and we worked hard every shift.''
