GAME: Anaheim Mighty Ducks (8-10-4) at Dallas Stars (13-6-1).

TIME: Wednesday, 8:30 p.m. EST.

The surging Dallas Stars look to continue their solid work on special teams as they seek a season-high fifth straight win against the Anaheim Mighty Ducks.

The Stars scored three power-play goals and one shorthanded in a 6-3 victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets on Friday, their seventh win in eight games.

Jere Lehtinen broke a third-period tie with the last of Dallas' man-advantage goals, his team-leading 11th goal of the season and third straight game-winner.

Dallas gave up two power-play goals in the second period, but outscored the Blue Jackets 4-1 in the third, including Stephane Robidas' short-handed tally.

"We let them in the game with some special teams so it was good that we won it with some special teams," Stars coach Dave Tippett said after his 100th NHL victory. "Not just the power-play goals but the shorthanded goal."

Brenden Morrow and Jussi Jokinen also capitalized on the power play for the Stars, who have scored with the man advantage in 11 straight games - their longest streak since the team moved to Dallas in 1993.

Dallas had success on the penalty kill despite allowing two goals, keeping Columbus scoreless during a two-minute, two-man advantage in the first period.

"We talk about finding ways to win the game," said Tippett. "When you give them a 5-on-3, that's finding ways to lose games. You know you're going to give up a chance or two. But we've done a real good job on our PK."

Dallas improved to 6-4-1 this season at American Airlines Center after winning three in a row on the road.

"It would have been tough to play lousy after winning three on the road," said center Jason Arnott, who has six goals and six assists in his last eight games. "Our fans wouldn't like that."

Anaheim ended an eight-game losing streak Tuesday with a 2-1 victory at Phoenix.

Teemu Selanne had his second goal in three games and Tyler Wright also scored for the Mighty Ducks, who won for the first time since defeating Nashville on Nov. 1.

"It was a work of art," Anaheim coach Randy Carlyle said. "It was a beautiful game because we haven't had this feeling in a while. It's been a long time."

Backup Ilya Bryzgalov made 19 saves in place of Jean-Sebastien Giguere, who is sidelined with a sore hamstring.
