Continuing their recent troubles in Edmonton, the Ducks fell to the Oilers 5-1 on Friday night in their first trip to Rexall Place this season.
Shawn Horcoff had a goal and two assists, and Dwayne Roloson made 21 saves to help the Edmonton in the victory.
Ales Hemsky, Andrew Cogliano, Kyle Brodziak and Steve Staios also scored for Edmonton. Roloson allowed only Ryan Getzlaf's first-period goal.
A night after shutting out Calgary, Ducks goalie Jean-Sebastien Giguere was pulled after allowing Cogliano's goal at 1:33 of the third period. Giguere allowed four goals on 23 shots.
With the loss, the Ducks have now only won once in their last 15 appearances in Edmonton.
The Oilers struck first on a rare power-play goal just over two minutes in. Edmonton, last in the NHL with 11 power-play goals entering the game, looked effective with the man advantage to start the game when Hemsky fed Horcoff at the side of the net. Horcoff deftly threaded it back to Hemsky, who beat Giguere for his ninth of the season.
The Ducks tied it five minutes later when Getzlaf's passing attempt deflected off Oilers defenseman Joni Pitkanen and past Roloson.
Edmonton survived a stretch in the second half of the middle period when it took four consecutive penalties, including giving Anaheim a two-man advantage for 1:23. Roloson and the Oilers' penalty killers kept the Ducks from scoring.
The key kills gave the Oilers life late in the period, and they went ahead 3-1 on goals just 26 seconds apart in the final minute of the second.
The first goal came with 27 seconds remaining when former Ducks forward Dustin Penner's shot bounced off the end boards and back over the net to Horcoff, who fired a shot over Giguere's shoulder.
Then, with just 10.2 seconds left, Marty Reasoner was able to send a puck through the legs of Duck defenseman Sean O'Donnell to Brodziak at the side of the net and he shoveled it in to give Edmonton a two-goal lead after 40 minutes.
It took the Oilers just 1:33 into the third to make it a three-goal advantage when Tom Gilbert sprung Cogliano on a breakaway with a perfect pass and the rookie forward made the most of the opportunity, scoring his sixth of the season.
Staios skating in from the blue line, got a wrister past Jonas Hiller, who replaced Giguere in the third period, to make it 5-1.
Anaheim only managed one shot in the third.
The teams will play a rematch on Sunday at Honda Center.
