GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) -The bounces went Anaheim's way, finally, and the Ducks' six-game skid is over. So is Phoenix's seven-game winning streak.
Bobby Ryan had his second career hat trick to help the Ducks erase a two-goal deficit and beat the Coyotes 6-4 on Saturday night.
Ryan scored three of Anaheim's five consecutive goals after Phoenix took a 3-1 lead early in the second period. The Ducks were playing for the second night in a row after losing 4-1 at home to Chicago on Friday.
It was the fifth hat trick in 11 games at Jobing.com Arena this season, the first by a Phoenix opponent.
"I'm just happy to join the club," Ryan said.
Shane Doan, Keith Yandle and Scottie Upshall each had a goal and assist for the Coyotes, who lost in regulation for the first time in 10 games.
Phoenix was 1 for 6 on power plays.
"I would say our penalty killing bailed us out," Anaheim coach Randy Carlyle said, "and then our big guys that get paid all the money scored some goals for us."
Getzlaf broke out of a scoring funk with four assists for the Ducks.
The Coyotes led 3-1 after their lone power-play goal, a left-handed one-timer by Yandle from the right faceoff circle.
Ryan, who has 13 goals this season, erased the lead with consecutive scores, the first just 51 seconds after Yandle's goal. Ryan fired a slap shot to the left of goalie Ilya Bryzgalov.
The Ducks tied it on Ryan's breakaway goal four seconds after a Coyotes' power play ended. Ryan's chance came after Phoenix's Wojtek Wolski's shot from point-blank range careened off the right post. The puck then bounced off a skate and to Ryan, who had no one in front of him but the Phoenix goalie.
"That's 4-2 or 3-3," Coyotes coach Dave Tippett said. "That was a huge turning point of the game."
Ryan admitted a bit of luck was involved.
"It came right to me," he said. "They weren't sure who the first guy was supposed to be back and gave me a little room, so I just tried to do what I know how to do and that's shoot. I'll take the lucky ones, that's for sure."
After McMillan's goal, Anaheim made it 5-3 when Corey Perry's shot deflected off of Phoenix's Taylor Perry and into the net. Ryan's final goal made it 6-3.
Upshall's goal cut it to 6-4 with just under 6 minutes to play.
Phoenix came up empty despite a one-man advantage for four minutes at the end of the second period and start of the third following a double-minor penalty against Andy Sutton of Anaheim for high-sticking.
"We didn't get a lot of bounces tonight," Tippett said, "but on the other side I thought there was way too many occasions where we got beat one-oin-one or didn't compete hard enough on a loose puck to even the slate. They got some bounces and they capitalized on their bounces and we didn't do enough to win."
NOTES: The Ducks scored just 10 goals during their six-game skid. ... Anaheim's first line had nine points in the losing streak but 10 on Saturday. ... Anaheim has allowed four goals in each of its last four games. ... Yandle had eight stitches in his forehead after being cut during practice on Friday.
